Legally, any doctor can perform an in-office liposuction procedure, including ER doctors, primary care physicians and more! However, you wouldn’t want just any doctor without the proper experience and training to handle your liposuction surgery. Therefore, make sure you choose a surgeon who is board-certified and completed three to five years of training in surgery, with an eye for detail, which is a must for cosmetic surgery!
