The BeautiFill™ BBL procedure uses a laser system to heat up the tissues surrounding the fat cells during harvesting. Dr. Schwartz will perform the procedure under local anesthesia so that you will stay awake but numb in the treatment area. The doctor only needs small incisions to insert the laser probes for fat harvesting, and injections into the buttocks require no incisions at all.
Your BBL can last for several years if managed well. First, you will need to make sure the fat has time to establish itself in its new location, so follow your surgeon’s instructions on how to sit and position yourself to keep from disturbing the fat grafts. In addition, gaining or losing a significant amount of weight will affect the fat cells in your buttocks and can alter your results.
