What Is Vaginal Rejuvenation Like?

Patients can undergo FemiLift® laser vaginal rejuvenation as an outpatient in the comfort and privacy of our Kansas City clinic. Dr. Craig Schwartz performs the procedure in 5-10 minutes. Vaginal rejuvenation treatment requires no anesthesia, though you may receive topical numbing cream for your maximum comfort. Dr. Schwartz will gently insert the FemiLift® probe into the vagina and rotate it 360º to allow the laser energy to penetrate the vaginal tissue fully. You can return to your regular daily routine immediately after treatment, though Dr. Schwartz recommends that you avoid intercourse for three days.

Is There Any Downtime?

No downtime is required after FemiLift® vaginal rejuvenation treatment. Dr. Schwartz will discuss potential side effects and aftercare with you at your initial consultation. Some patients experience mild spotting or a slight watery discharge for 1-2 days after the procedure.
