For Kansas City cosmetic surgeon Dr. Craig Schwartz, his cosmetic treatment of choice is one that is very unique in the field of cosmetic medicine in that is simultaneously solves two unrelated problems with the same procedure.

Facial Fat Transfer Treatment

Using the BeautiFill laser, which is the first device of its kind, Dr. Schwartz first performs high-definition liposuction with a tiny wand that breaks up the fat without liquefying it, then gently sucks it away and rapidly processes it for transfer. This FDA-approved device precisely and safely removes stubborn exercise and diet-resistant fat (talking to you – tummy, outer and inner thighs, love-handles, bra roll, and double-chin) that can be immediately injected into desired areas of your face to increase volume around your eyes, cheeks, nose, temples and mouth.

Unlike liposuction procedures that are often performed under general anesthesia in surgery centers, which increases both the cost and the downtime, the BeautiFill liposuction-fat transfer procedure is performed while you are comfortably awake, with the use of  local tumescent anesthesia,  (and possibly with the help of  mild oral sedation or nitrous oxide to decrease any anxiety about the procedure). Our patients walk out of our cosmetic laser practice the same day and frequently return to work within 48 hours if not sooner.

Facial Fat Transfer Results

A single procedure can deliver impressive results to both men and women of all ages, including a smaller belly and a more youthful, fresher, healthier, rejuvenated face.  And unlike synthetic dermal fillers that produce results that are temporary, lasting anywhere from 6-12 months, the longevity of a facial fat transfer procedure could, theoretically, last forever, as the harvested fat does not go away, and has been found to have a viability of 95-97%  improving the ultimate fat survivability. This revolutionary procedure, unfortunately, can’t stop the aging process, but it can certainly both reverse its course, as well as provide long-term results without the need for ongoing injections.

Facial Fat Transfer Cost

Although the cost of  BeautiFill liposuction-fat transfer procedure is determined by both the volume of fat removed from the body and the volume transferred to the face, a general price  of $3500 – $5000 is average.  Dr. Schwartz provides consultations so that he can review your treatment goals and his plan prior to your procedure day.

In the world of cosmetic fillers, nothing will look, wear, feel or last as well as living fat for volume restoration. The ability to safely and effectively remove fat from areas where you don’t want it and inject it back into areas needing  volume replenishment has truly revolutionized the field of cosmetic anti-aging!
