Photo Rejuvenation with Forever Young™ BBL
For the day you wake up to find that your face no longer has that youthful, vibrant appearance it once had!
Our Forever Young™ BBL Photo Rejuvenation is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment designed to produce younger and healthier looking skin. Over time, our skin begins to display the effects of aging. Outside factors like sun damage, gravity and hormones can actually speed up the aging process. The collagen found in our skin begins to break down and results in fine lines around the eyes and lips, deeper lines and grooves in the brow, and much more. Photo rejuvenation treatments can treat our skin in a safe, easy, gentle and effective manner. Photo Rejuvenation can treat vascular redness, the appearance of rosacea, pigmented brown spots, sun damage, skin texture and collagen structure all at once. It is the ideal procedure to both correct damaged skin and reverse some signs of aging.
How Does Photo Rejuvenation Work?
With the use of Broad Band Light (BBL) therapy – an advanced version of Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL) – dramatic improvements can be accomplished typically with no downtime and little or no discomfort. While still reliant on specific wavelengths of light to target melanin or hemoglobin under the skin’s surface, BBL does not have the same radiation associated with laser technology, as it works by transferring short blasts of specific light waves through the skin – different pigments are reached depending on the filter that we use. Photo Rejuvenation only treats the affected areas while leaving the surrounding tissues intact. This provides the patient with smoother, healthier, younger-looking skin.* While typically performed on the face, photo rejuvenation can also treat the neck, chest and hands.
PhotoRejuvenation May Be Your Answer For:
- Rosacea and Redness
- Sun Damage to the Face, including Freckling, Hyperpigmentation, Large Pores
- Sun Damage to the Chest/Back and Hands/Arms, including Freckling, Hyperpigmentation, Redness
This short procedure, in which intense pulses of light are penetrated deep into the skin, causes collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, reducing redness and age lines. The redness and swelling that sometimes occur disappear quickly, and most benefits – including a radiant complexion – occur gradually in the weeks following treatment. Although less expensive than laser treatments and other technology, it often takes several rounds of treatment to get the desired results. Although it is a gentle procedure, people with darker skin may have trouble with this technique.*
